1. I NEED HELP NOW. WHAT DO I DO?
Call us immediately at 813-935-4744. Many times we can give you same-day
appointments and treatments, so don't delay because the sooner you call
us the sooner we can help.
2. WHAT
CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?
Dr. Mane will see you for your complimentary consultation. This usually
takes 30 minutes, but may take longer depending upon your condition.
This is an important step in your healing process, because it helps
us determine how we can help you. If you are accepted as a new patient,
we will proceed with your initial evaluation. Your first evaluation
is very thorough. We ask you bring any and all testing reports and images
including MRI. We will ask you to fill out some confidential office
forms, and help you determine what type of payment schedule will fit
your needs.
3. WILL
I BE TREATED ON THE FIRST VISIT?
There are exceptions, but usually we can proceed with treatment as soon
as time allows after your initial evaluation. The doctor will make that
decision after your evaluation, depending upon your needs. Please note
that WE WILL NOT PERFORM TREATMENT WITHOUT A THOROUGH EVALUATION-and
you should never let ANY doctor treat or adjust you without evaluating
you first.
4. WILL I BE ABLE TO GET OFF MY PAIN MEDICATION?
Changes in medication can only be made by the prescribing physician.
Those decisions are between the patient and that doctor. Dr. Mane works
with patients and their medical doctors to help insure that everyone
involved in the case is on the same page.
5. WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY CARE?
Coverage differs tremendously between insurance companies, and depending
upon the type of plan you have. It is always in your best interest to
review your policy or call your insurance company before your first
visit to find out what type of coverage you have for OUT OF NETWORK
CHIROPRACTIC CARE. Please remember that your insurance company works
for you, and not for us. All services are charged to you directly, and
we ask that payment be made at the time services are rendered, unless
other arrangements are made after a meeting with our financial advisor.
6. WHY
IS MANE CENTER FOR NON-SURGICAL SOLUTIONS "OUT OF NETWORK"?
" We want to work for you, not your insurance company. Many times
a doctor signs up with a HMO or PPO to accept "in-network"
benefits, they contract with the insurance company. Usually this means
the doctor has to agree to charge less per service, or get paid more
if services or tests are NOT performed. Insurance companies are in the
business of making money, not giving it away. Ask yourself, 'Do they
have your best interest at heart or theirs?' We are in the business
of helping you get better and stay better and this is the only way we
will stay in business. It does not make sense for us to contract with
your insurance company when our goals are simply not the same. We use
a teamwork approach with YOU, the patient, to help you reach your goals.
The more time, effort, and value you put into your recovery, the faster
it will be, and the more long lasting the results.
" Chiropractic Neurology is a cutting-edge specialty. There are
currently less than 600 board certified chiropractic neurologists in
the entire world. Insurance companies are not always up-to-date on the
latest research and techniques that involve your health care, especially
when it comes to non-invasive intervention (without the use of drugs
and/or surgery). Therefore, they may not have the knowledge and clinical
background to recognize the benefit of some of our treatments and services.
They are not doctors. Dr. Mane frequently attends rigorous post-doctoral
educational seminars to stay up to date on the very latest and greatest
in non-invasive healthcare. It does not surprise anyone in the medical
profession when the insurance companies do not understand how we can
get such outstanding results with alternative and cutting edge methods.
The bottom line is this: We are dedicated to constantly and consistently
increasing our knowledge base, and we will do everything we can to get
you safe and effective results.

We are not an "assembly line" type practice. You've probably
noticed that we spend quite a bit of time with each individual patient,
from the initial consultation, to the in-depth physical examination.
We also put a lot of emphasis on explaining the cause-and solution to
your health problems. We believe that the more you understand about
how and why you are feeling like you're feeling, the faster we can help
get you better. We evaluate and fine-tune your treatment plan at each
and every visit, instead of doing the same thing over and over. When
a doctor contracts with an insurance company, they are basically saying
that they are willing to reduce their fees in exchange for seeing more
patients. We'd rather concentrate on quality rather than quantity-by
taking extra special care of each and every patient, and relying on
the fact that when you see results, you will refer your friends and
family members to us so that we can help them too and the proof is in
how steadily we continue to grow.
7. WHAT
IF I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE?
We do offer payment plans, as many of our patients pay for their care
directly out of their own pockets, but we also work with Unicorn Financial,
Care Credit, and Help Card. They offer no interest payment plans and
affordable monthly payments. Monthly payments may be as low as $50 for
a $1,000 fee balance. These patients tend to take more responsibility
for their health and follow through with their doctor's recommendations,
and therefore get better, faster. Many people see this type of care
offered as an insurance plan in-itself -designed to help you live better,
longer and healthier. Take responsibility for your health! It affects
everything you do and everyone you know, and it is truly your most valuable
asset.
