PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY

Peripheral Neuropathy, also known as Peripheral Nerve Disease, is one of the most common diseases most people have never heard of (15-20 million Americans have peripheral nerve disease). Caused by deterioration of the peripheral nerves, neuropathy disrupts the body's ability to communicate with its muscles, organs and tissues. Neuropathy is like the body's wiring system going haywire, causing unusual or unpleasant irritations including tingling, burning, itchiness, crawling sensation, dizziness, clumsiness and more. If ignored, as they too often are, these neuropathy symptoms can lead to numbness at one extreme to unremitting pain at the other. Our therapeutic laser system has been extremely effective in reducing and eliminating the pain, discomfort, and misery associated with this condition.

SHOCKING FACTS ABOUT NEUROPATHY:

  • 60% of diabetics suffer with neuropathy
  • 30% of neuropathy cases are diabetics
  • Neuropathy affects about 20 million people in the US
  • 30% of neuropathies are of unknown causes

HIGH POWER LASER THERAPY
High power laser therapy is a new non-invasive treatment performed on an out patient basis for neuropathy sufferers that have previously been non-responsive to other forms of treatment. With this painless, non-surgical therapy patients typically gain relief within a few treatments.

How?

Results come from the laser's ability to "Bio-stimulate" tissue growth and repair. This results in accelerated wound healing as well as a dramatic decrease in pain, inflammation, and scar tissue formation. Unlike all other treatment modalities, a laser treatment actually "heals" tissue. The laser's superior results come from its ability to deliver healing laser energy to the targeted tissues.

Biological Effects of Therapeutic Lasers
Laser therapy aims to biostimulate injured and dysfunctional tissues. Clinical studies and trials of class three and four laser technology indicate the following beneficial effects of light therapy on tissues and cells:

One. Anti-pain (analgesic)
Two. Accelerated tissue repair and cell growth.
Three. Improve nerve function.
Four. Anti-inflammation
Five. Improved vascular activity.
Six. Increased metabolic activity.
Seven. Reduced fibrous tissue formation.
Eight. Faster wound healing.

A Word from Our Patient:

Dear Dr. Mañé,
Thank you so very much for everything!!! You, Bronia, and all your staff have been friendly, fun, helpful, and made me feel very comfortable from day one by explaining everything to me, introducing me to a patient going through the laser treatment and letting me talk with him to see what the treatment would be like for me. I felt at home with everyone.
Right away the orthotics that you custom-made for me instantly made my feet more comfortable. The laser treatments were very comfortable and most of the numbness on my feet has disappeared, most of the discomfort (felt like lumpy socks on the bottom of my feet) has disappeared, the burning is completely gone, the tingling in my feet is almost completely gone, and best of all, I am able to stand in my kitchen to cook and still have company over at night without foot pain.

Thank you so very much for giving me back the ability to walk and shop without pain, and hopefully travel and dance in the near future.
With much thanks and appreciation for everything,

Sylvia G.
